Sindhi Kadhi Recipe
Learn how to make Sindhi Curry Recipe at home easily
Ingredients:
oil- 5 tblsp
asafoetida a pinch
green chillies – to taste
cumin seeds – 1 tsp
fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp
gram flour – 6 tblsp
coriander/cumin powder- 1 tsp
turmeric powder – a pinch
mixed vegetables (carrots, ladyfinger, brinjal, drumsticks, bottle gourd)- 2 cups/200 gms
tamarind pulp – 2 tblsp
salt – to taste
coriander leaves – 2-3 sprigs
Making Sindhi Kadhi :
- Take oil and make it warm in a pan.
- Put asafoetida and after some seconds, add the chopped chilies, cumin and fenugreek seeds.
- Let them to stop spluttering, then add the gram flour, keep stirring constantly.
- Sauté till the flour becomes brown in color and aroma starts to come out.
- Add about 5-6 cups (1 lt.) of water, stirring constantly to avoid forming lumps.
- Cook on a low flame for at least 15 to 20 minutes and then, make it to boil.
- Sauté, the vegetables and spices.
- After that, add tamarind pulp and cook further, till the vegetables become soft.
- Lastly add the salt and decorate with chopped coriander.
