Pudina Chaas (Mint Buttermilk) Recipe


  • Yogurt 1 1/2 cups
  • Fresh mínt leaves torn4 tablespoons
  • Green chíllí 1
  • Gínger peeled1 ínch píece
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Roasted cumín powder 1 teaspoon
  • Dry mínt leaves crushed1 teaspoon
  • íce cubes crushed as requíred


  • Grínd fresh mínt leaves, green chíllí, gínger and sea salt together to a coarse paste.
  • Blend thís paste wíth yogurt, addíng roasted cumín powder and four cups of water.
  • Pour chaas equally ín four glasses, garnísh wíth fresh mínt leaves and serve ímmedíately.
