1 Tbsp/15g Curry Paste, Balti, Tomato & Coriander, Original, Patak’s |
500g Chicken, Thigh, Meat Only, Raw, Average |
400g Tomatoes, Chopped, Canned, Bettabuy, Morrisons |
1 Med/180g Onions, Raw, Average |
Method: How to make Chicken Balti
- I buy boneless, skinless chicken thighs and cut the bits of fat off first.
- Finely chop the onion and fry in a spray of olive oil 1 cal in a non stick saute pan. Cut the thighs into bite size chunks and add with the onions.
- Fry until onions are transluscent and chicken is white on the outside. Add the balti paste and stir well, then add the tomatoes and stir again. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
- I like this with rice or chapati’s but don’t forget to add the calories for them.
